Parental Involvement
Being involved in the educational experience of a child is a rewarding and irreplaceable experience. Working together, we must find the best fit for parents and teachers to work together. Because parents come with a wealth of knowledge and experience, we know that there are many ways to use those gifts and talents for the success of the school and students. There are numerous opportunities for parents to join students in the classroom and across the campus.
Parents will be encouraged to always read the bimonthly newsletter. The publication will contain valuable information, schedules and events that take place throughout the school year. This is the primary means of communication between the Front Office and the home. We must strive to keep parents up to date on all that is happening across the campus.
Below should be opportunities for parents to volunteer at the school:
In the classroom:
*observe their child in the classroom *join their child during Centers (Pre-K) *assist the teacher with Science Labs *accompany their child on a field trip *volunteer during holiday parties |
Around the campus:
*Parent Teacher Organization *Annual Campus Needs Assessment *Gardening Club *Recycling Rally *Kickball Sponsor *Technology Committee |
